SEATTLE, WA – Cal State L.A.’s women’s indoor track and field team competed well in the final day of the University of Washington Invitational.
Jamilah St. Cyr set a provisional NCAA Division II qualifying mark in the 60 meter hurdles while winning her heat and All-American
Moriah Jubrey ran well in the 60 and 200 in her first races of the season.
St. Cyr, who has also earned All-America honors at Cal State L.A., won her heat and was sixth overall in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.97.
Manuel had the fastest open 400 time (60.57), while Shoate (63.08) and Belt (64.01) also competed.
In field events, Smith had a 17-6 effort in the long jump, Ridley had a mark of 16-9.25 and
Ashley Fletcher had a mark of 16-1.75.
Huntley had a mark of 4-11.75 in the high jump and
Te’Ahnalin Harris had a mark of 42-00.75 in the shot put. St. Cyr also competed in that event and had a mark of 39-7.75.
Cal State L.A. will return to action at the Run For The Dream meet in Fresno next weekend.
