LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.’s women’s basketball team has added junior forward Lacy Ramon to its program, Golden Eagle head coach Janell Jones announced on Friday. Lacy Ramon, a 6-1 forward from Mercer University, has joined the Cal State L.A. program, Jones said. Ramon was third on the Bears last season in scoring with 8.6 points per game and second in rebounding with 5.3 boards per contest. 

LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.’s women’s basketball team has added another former NCAA Division I guard to its program, Golden Eagle head coach Janell Jones announced on Tuesday. Erika Ruiz, a guard from Saint Mary’s College, has joined the Cal State L.A. program, Jones said. Ruiz appeared in 54 games over two seasons with the Gaels.

LOS ANGELES – Janell Jones, who has accumulated 260 victories in previous stints at Mercer, UC San Diego and Oklahoma City, has been named the head women’s basketball coach at Cal State L.A., Director of Athletics Dan Bridges announced on Wednesday. Jones, who has spent the past three seasons at Division I Mercer, also formerly coached at UC San Diego.
