LOS ANGELES -- Cal State L.A.'s men's and women's track and field teams posted more NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks at the USC Trojan Invitational. Moriah Jubrey posted provisional marks in the 200 meters, Verlondon Harris posted a provisional mark in the shot put and Josh Como won the triple jump to highlight action for the Golden Eagles at USC's Loker Stadium/Cromwell Field.

LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.’s baseball team had a forgettable day Saturday in its final non-conference games of the season. The Golden Eagles fell apart in both ends of a doubleheader and were swept by Cal State San Marcos, 10-8 and 9-4, Saturday at Reeder Field. Cal State L.A. (12-13) lost all three games in the series to the Cougars (17-7-1).

LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.’s baseball team came up flat in its first game at Reeder Field this month. The Golden Eagles committed five errors and produced only two runs while dropping an 8-2 non-conference decision to Cal State San Marcos Friday evening. Cal State L.A. (12-11) had a six-game winning streak snapped.

NORTHRIDGE -- Cal State L.A.'s women's track and field team received an outstanding performance Friday by Tuekeha Huntley at the Cal State Northridge Multi-Event Invitational. Huntley finished second in the heptathlon and posted an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark with 4,714 points, which eclipsed the provisional qualifying standard of 4,400 points.

WALNUT CREEK – Cal State L.A.’s Dora Kiss has been named the Penn/California Collegiate Athletic Association Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 8-14, the conference announced on Monday. Kiss, the No. 1 singles player for the Golden Eagles, went 4-0 in singles matches and 3-1 in doubles contests to help Cal State L.A. to a 4-0 week.

SEASIDE -- Cal State L.A.'s baseball team picked up two hard-fought victories on Sunday to complete a four-game sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay. The Golden Eagles got outstanding starting pitching from Rory Young and Camron Collard and posted 5-4 and 6-3 California Collegiate Athletic Association victories over the Otters Sunday at Otter Baseball Field.

SEASIDE -- Cal State L.A.'s baseball team had a nailbiter to start its day, but left nothing to chance in the nightcap of a California Collegiate Athletic Association doubleheader against Cal State Monterey Bay. The Golden Eagles got a run in the seventh and a run in the ninth to take the opener, 3-2, and then exploded for 19 hits to post a 17-7 win in the nightcap Saturday at Otter Baseball Field.

LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.’s women’s tennis team completed an exceptional week with a fourth consecutive victory. The Golden Eagles took two of three doubles contests and five of six singles matches to defeat Grand Canyon, 7-2, Saturday at the CSULA Tennis Complex. Cal State L.A. (4-4) started the season with four losses, but has rebounded to record four wins in the past five days.

3.13.10 | Women's Indoor Track and Field
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Cal State L.A.'s women's indoor track and field team didn't perform as well as it would have liked at the NCAA Division II Championships, but the Golden Eagles still managed to leave the event with some All-America honors. In the last event of the championships, the Golden Eagles' 4x400 relay team finished eighth to earn Cal State L.A. its only point of the meet.
